Hamster Rescues
As there are so many unwanted hamsters around the world looking for their forever homes I'm always going to recommend adopting or rescuing a hamster from a rescue, shelter, or from a rehoming website.
I do not recommend or endorse purchasing a hamster from a pet store due to the majority of them being bred in horrendous conditions in rodent mills and/or kept in inhumane conditions once in the stores.

​I also don't recommend or endorse purchasing a hamster from a breeder as I do not believe there is such a thing as an 'ethical' breeder when it comes to hamsters.
